reDEW officially started in 2016 but unofficially I've been doing this much longer. My creative mother made a beautiful home on a limited budget. Growing up we called turning thrifted furniture into an object of beauty making do, but now it's upcycling. I also believe that I'm doing a small part for the planet by keeping things out of landfills and reducing my carbon footprint by purchasing used instead of newly manufactured as often as possible.
I love the entire process from the exhilaration of finding some little gem in a thrift store I never knew I wanted, but now I can't live without. There's also a thrill in envisioning it's protentional and the trill of realizing that vision. I even enjoy the failures because I have the ability to laugh at myself and gain wisdom.
Thrifting as often as I do I run across great finds that need no update all the time. I've started to curate these gems and offer them at affordable prices because I believe everyone should be able to afford a beautiful home.
Visit often to see my creative process (successes and failures) and find something vintage or unique that you didn't know until you saw it, but now you absolutely must have in your home.
